Crafting moments, one scoop at a time.
Atelier 27 is an artisanal gelato atelier founded by Chef Wu Si Han, Founder & Creative Director, and Tay Ying, Co-Founder & Marketing Director.
Rooted in craftsmanship and creativity, we create artisanal gelato, seasonal desserts and gelato experiences with a focus on thoughtful flavours, quality ingredients and design.
Chef Wu Si Han
Founder & Creative Director
Chef Wu Si Han is a Singaporean chef and media personality with a foundation in European cuisine, honed in professional kitchens including Singapore’s then only 3-Michelin-starred Joël Robuchon.
His culinary journey has taken him across Japan, France, Australia and beyond, visiting farms and producers to discover native ingredients and their origins.
At Atelier 27, he translates these experiences into thoughtful ingredients and unexpected flavour pairings, creating a modern expression of gelato crafted for our tropical climate.
Tay Ying
Co-Founder & Marketing Director

• Melting behaviour as design feature
Pillar Two: The Kitchen as a Lab
• Chefs as researchers
• Flavours as prototypes
• Iteration as brand language
Pillar Three: Sustainability as
Engineering
• Upcycling as process
• Waste as a creative input
